The heart of passion ministry is committed and dedicated to helping humanity especially the widows, orphans and the less privileged. It is a divine call and assignment given to me (the visionary) Pastor Moyosoluwa Faith Abejide. It is born out of passion having seen their plight when I went on visitations as directed by God. I was able to see what they go through in terms of affliction, sufferings, hunger, pains, sickness without drugs and necessary help.
With this heavy burden on me, in September 2004, it became very clear that God wanted me to do something definite; because while we live and celebrate life, these sets of people in the body of Christ are neglected and uncared for.
James 1:27 says that “pure religion and undefiled before God and the father is this; to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction. This mandate, therefore, cannot be accomplished by a single individual or entity. It needs the support of like-minded and caring hearts. God needs you and I to care for them. You may not know them, you may not know where they live or what their problems are but you can always show love of Christ and the Heart of passion ministry can do that on your behalf.
1 Samuel 30:24 says “for who will hearken unto you in this matter? But as His part is that goes down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarries by the stuff, they shall part alike”. In this light, God’s method for his work has not changed and will never change. His method is man. God’s raw material is man from the beginning, through the possessing stage to the finished product. He depends on uses men.
2 kings 4:8-12, God used a great woman of Shunem to continually provide food for Elisha. She also made a chamber for Elisha to lay whenever he comes to Shunem. God in return also met the need of the woman and blessed her. You can’t support God’s work and lack. I therefore invite you by the mercies of God, who has given me this mandate to partner with me and as you give your support, God will also meet your needs in a very miraculous way as he did in the life of the rich Shunamite woman.
